 Christmas is the time of the year when everyone thinks of peace and goodwill towards men. Wars being fought have even been stopped to observe this holiday . . . the birthday of Jesus. . .a man who taught nothing but love and forgiveness. So I ask. . . Why only observe the Christ Light one day of the year? During one season of the year? Why is it that men choose to disregard the words Jesus spoke, "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matt:5:44. Nowhere does he teach to go to war and mass-murder human beings in another country because you don't believe in their politics, or religion, or the way they do things, or for any other reason you can give each other. Nowhere does he teach to stop terrorism you become a terrorist. Look the word up in the dictionary. "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." - Luke 23:34 If Jesus could forgive his persecutors, then how can those who claim to want to follow him, accept and cry out for war . . . the killing of innocent people? Because there are the innocent ones in every country you know. What I believe is the second coming is the coming of Christ Consciousness. The Light of Christ. The Love of Christ. The forgiveness of Christ. The embracing of mankind of mankind. The final realization that All IS ONE. We are not separated from God. We are 'part' of God. For God made man in His/Her image . . . the Light of God is within 'every human being.' And yes, even in the soul of those men who are looked upon as an enemy. Look in the mirror and you will see your own worst enemy. For you and you alone can change your world. You and you alone create heaven or hell on earth. You reap what your sow. Remember that when you choose war over peace, hate over love, condemnation over forgiveness, vindictiveness over compassion.
But you say, "I am but one person. I can't do anything!" WRONG! Look at the history of your world. One person, one individual who was passionate about their beliefs, who stepped out and used that passion to change things. It takes but one domino to fall to level the whole playing field of dominos. Let's let the Light of Christ shine each and everyday not just during one season of the year. Let's make this Christmas 2002 bring in the Second Coming of Christ Consciousness to mankind everywhere on earth. And whether or not you celebrate Christmas. . . no matter what your religion. . . they all teach LOVE, PEACE, HARMONY. Be the domino that begins leveling the field in your world. As the song says; "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."
